I enter the corridor. It’s early in the morning. I set up my tripod and mount the 360-degree camera on top. I don’t have much time, as the first tourists will soon be flocking into the Vasari Corridor. However, I need a shot without any people—and I will also remove myself, just like the shadow of the tripod, later from my panoramic photo. A simple touch-up. What remains is a crystal-clear capture of the Vasari Corridor with its unique collection of self-portraits, allowing you to take your time looking around at everything. Whether you look up at the ceiling with its round lamps or down at the magnificent tiles beneath the camera, you will find no trace of the photographer: I will have disappeared, without leaving the slightest trace.
